Easter Mass Celebration in Ban Don Yang and Ban Tham Hin Shelters

   To avoid the COVID-19 pandemic, Easter Mass Celebration in April was postponed. On June 30, 2020, Easter Mass was then celebrated in Ban Don Yang Temporary Shelter, in Kanchanaburi Province’s Sangkhlaburi District, by Fr. Justin, Sr. Cecilia of COERR Ratchaburi and team together with the Catholic faithful numbering 71 of 45 female and 26 male.

   Later, on July 10, 2020, Fr. Peter, the Abbot of the Fatima Church in Ratchaburi Diocese, Fr. Justin, Sr. Cecilia and COERR team, celebrated Easter Mass in Ban Tham Hin Temporary Shelter in Ratchaburi Province’s Suan Phueng District. There were 165 Catholic faithful of 90 female and 75 male attending. After Mass, the priests, Sr. and the team went to visit the bedridden and the sick who were unable to go to Church to pray, anoint and blessed them.

   Sunday School activity started in Ban Don Yang on July 1st, in which Catechism, Bible and songs were taught by team of Catechists and youth leader. At Ban Tham Hin, Sunday School was organized on July 26th, with the “Parents Day” Ceremony in which Catechists and youth offered their gifts to parents and Benefactors participating in the ceremony. Best wish songs were sung to bring happiness to all. There were 105 participants of 60 female and 45 male attending.
